Behind the stately Mediterranean-styled villa, a traditional Italian family carries on the legendary dishes of Arturo Gismondi. Incredible aromas of homemade breads and pastas and the freshest fish, veal, chicken and beef come from the kitchen, enticing those gathered for just one more bite. Truly a family affair, Arturo’s son, Vincenzo, and his wife, Rosaria, have made the restaurant their life. Their five daughters represent Arturo’s third generation: The oldest prepares the restaurant’s fabulous pastries — courtesy of training from New York’s famed Hyde Park Culinary Institute and Villa d’Este on Italy’s Lake Como.
