Jamie Briggs Removals and Storage Ltd, founded in 2000 and based near Bicester, Oxfordshire, is a family-owned business specializing in a wide range of removal services, including library, museum, fine art, domestic, and commercial moves. With a commitment to providing exceptional customer service, our highly trained and professional team customizes each move to meet specific client needs.
One of our most significant projects was the relocation of 7.9 million books from the Bodleian Library in Oxford to its new storage facility in Swindon. We excel in the careful packing, protection, and transportation of valuable items, making us trusted partners for high-profile and sensitive moves.
We offer comprehensive services, including international removals, office relocations, and specialist storage solutions. Our permanent staff regularly undergo accredited training and are members of the British Association of Removers (B.A.R.), ensuring we maintain the highest standards of service.
Additionally, we hold three British Standards: BS 8522 for Commercial Moving, BS EN 12522 for Household Furniture Removals, and BS EN 14873 for Storage of Furniture and Personal Effects. In 2019, we expanded our expertise by acquiring Conservation Resources (UK) Ltd., a company specializing in archival storage and conservation products, perfectly complementing our services in the heritage sector.
